The Initial Consultation is a very important meeting between the Aromatherapist and Client where they get to know each other.  We will discuss the client’s concerns, medical history, medications, and lifestyle. The Client will smell the different essential oils and rate them.  This is a very significant step for two main reasons.  The first is that if the client loves the aroma of an oil, they will be more apt to using it.  The second is that it gives the aromatherapist a record of the client’s likes and dislikes for future blends.  The initial consultation usually lasts about an hour.

 

Prior to the consultation it is important for the Client to fill out Euroscents Aromatherapy’s Intake Form and email it back to Euroscents Aromatherapy.  It is imperative that the intake form be filled out as honestly as possible.  Although essential oils are natural, they are also quite powerful.  This step will save much time during the initial consultation and allow the Aromatherapist to prepare for your visit.

 

Normally, the Client will leave with a small and simple blend especially formulated for the Client.

 

Depending on the Client’s concerns, the main blend may take up to a couple of days to produce.  This is mainly due to the research the Aromatherapist will do in order to make the best possible blend for the Client’s concern(s).

 

The cost of the blends will vary based on the essential oils and carriers used, as well as the quantity prepared.
